This updater software is provided as a service by FWB Software, Inc. for registered owners of CD-ROM ToolKit. We recommend making a copy of the original disk, and then updating the software on the copy. Do not update the software on the original disk.
The "CD-ROM ToolKit™ updater" application will bring version 1.0 through 1.0.4 of the CD-ROM ToolKit control panel to version 1.0.5. It will work on both serialized (after you have entered your name, organization, and serial number) and unserialized copies of the control panel.
The "CDT Remote™ DA updater" application will bring any older version of the CDT Remote™ desk accessory to version 1.0.5. It is designed to work on the suitcase file included on the CD-ROM ToolKit original disk, as opposed to "raw" System 7 desk accessory files extracted from the suitcase file for storage in the System 7 Apple Menu.
